Spay & Neuter Initiatives

How do we decrease euthanasia?

The average veterinary cost of preparing a rescued dog for adoption is $300 (spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, heartworm test and treatment, medical intervention for health issues).

Low cost spay/neuter services typically cost $60. For the same cost of preparing one dog for adoption, FIVE DOGS can be spayed/neutered.

Within five years, the number of puppies one breeding pair of dogs could produce is ONE HUNDRED dogs who will be euthanized at county shelters due to overcrowding. This can be prevented for just $120, less than half the cost of preparing one dog for adoption.

Pets and Patriots is funded entirely upon donations and your support is greatly appreciated.
